We've been quietly designing Basketball sneakers in our part of the world (Australia) for about 3 years now and one of our core beliefs is to have a balance between fashion and function. We are excited to be launching Hops in USA and feel we are bringing something new and unique to the market. We have noticed that most brands today seem to focus on Super light footwear and use of synthetic materials that doesn’t support the everyday player like it should. It's OK for Professional players because they can change their sneakers every game and have their ankles taped up to the max. But what about you and I?

At Hops we use 100% natural leathers because they conform to your foot better than synthetics do. They also mould to the foot and last longer. Many of our customers comment how comfortable their Hops are. We use a new type of EVA that is 20% lighter than conventional EVA used by many brands combined with Poron inserts for major shock absorption when playing hard. We feel our sneakers are lightweight enough without compromising the important support needed.

Our Medial Wing technology is exciting and has been popular with our customers in Australia. We believe it will be the same in USA. Being able to give extra stability needed when moving aggressively on the court has been a winner.

We represent something different and unique in a crowded market and us selling Hops online allows us to have control of our brand and business. Our sneakers are available in limited quantities which make them more appealing if you like to showcase something that not many people have.
